Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026.
This policy explains how Puramente Equine • World Horse handles the personal data of people who visit the portal, in accordance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, LGPD).
Reading without an account
You can read all of the portal’s content without creating an account and without providing your name, email or any other personal data. The portal has no public sign-up or comments.
Contact form
If you write to us through the Contact page, we keep your name, email, subject and message only to reply and follow up on your message, based on your consent. This data is accessible only to the portal team, is not used for marketing and is deleted when no longer needed or at your request.
Data collected automatically
Like any website, our server records technical access data, such as IP address, date and time, page visited and browser type. This data is used solely for security (for example, to block unauthorized access attempts), operation and error diagnosis, and is kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
Cookies and audience measurement
Visitors do not receive identifying cookies to read the portal. When audience measurement is enabled, we use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to produce aggregate usage statistics (most-read pages, device type, approximate region). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
The editorial team’s restricted area uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep staff signed in. It is not used for visitors.
The “Listen to this article” feature
Read-aloud is optional, only starts when you choose it and uses your own browser’s or device’s speech feature. The portal does not record your voice or store what you listened to. Depending on the browser, the article text may be processed by the manufacturer’s speech service (for example, Google, Microsoft or Apple), under their own policies.
Third-party content
Some articles may embed videos from platforms such as YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) or Vimeo. When you play them, these platforms may collect data under their own policies.
Sharing
We do not sell or share personal data for marketing purposes. Technical data may be processed by providers of essential services, such as hosting and audience measurement, always limited to those purposes.
Security
The portal runs exclusively over a secure connection (HTTPS) and uses measures such as limits on access attempts, time-limited sessions and restricted access to the administrative area.
Your rights
Under the LGPD, you may request confirmation that your data is processed, access, correction, anonymization or deletion of personal data, as well as information about sharing. To do so, contact us at the email shown in the portal’s footer.
Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the portal or to the law. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
